Terri Bibby started SAORI weaving in 2005 and opened her Registered SAORI Studio  in 2007. She has been to Japan many times to learn from Misao Jo and her family and has studied at the SAORI studios there.  At the end of 2025, Terri closed her SAORI Studio.

 

She is still a member of the SAORI Leader’s Committee based in Japan.

In her studio in the woods on Salt Spring Island, Terri continues to weave and is inspired by the ever changing colours and textures of nature that surround her.
